Katt Williams sued by tour manager for assault

Comedian KATT WILLIAMS has been hit with an assault and battery lawsuit by his tour manager.

Lawyer Mark Williams, no relation to Katt, filed documents in Los Angeles on Thursday (17Jul14) claiming his client was left with multiple injuries following an altercation with the funnyman in May (14).

In the papers obtained by TMZ.com, he alleges Williams became furious and hit the complainant with his "diamond rings which served as a brass knuckles weapon... with such force and power that he was rendered unconscious for a period of 90 seconds".

The lawsuit does not give details on where or why the alleged fight occurred, but the lawyer lists concussion, a loose tooth, and unspecified facial and head injuries as a result of the bust-up.

The lawsuit is the latest blow for Williams, who has been involved in a number of run-ins with the law involving his Rolls-Royce - earlier this week (15Jul14), he was reportedly under investigation for assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly hitting a fan with his car following an altercation at LAX airport in Los Angeles, and last week (begs07Jul14) his security guard allegedly used a stun gun on a stranger who was kicking the star's car outside an L.A. comedy club.
