Johnson Country Fair
The Johnson County fair starts Monday. Right now, crews are getting it all set up.A big part of the fair is the 4H club. Kids work really hard to get their projects entered into the fair competition. But if you think 4H is just for the country kids, you're wrong.
"4H is not really a one size fits all thing" says member Olivia Rogers. "There's projects for whatever you want grow in, there's leadership projects, there's the farm animals, technology it's really what you're interested in, you're able to do and to grow in."
The fair starts Monday, July 28. It runs through next weekend, August 2. That's happening in Gardner -- near Gardner Road and Washington Street.
