Where to trick-or-treat in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - Halloween is fast approaching, but a number of public attractions across the Kansas City area are hosting trick-or-treat events, making sure no one is left holding an empty candy bag.

Here's a listing of just some of the events, all open to children of all ages:

Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead is hosting "Night of the Living Farm" from 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 21, 22, 28 and 29th.
Where: 138th and Switzer, Overland Park, Kan.
Cost: $8 in advance; $10 at the door.

Independence Center is hosting a mall-wide safe Trick-or-Treating event from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 30.
