LIST COMPILED BY CHRIS ALLEN, KSHB-TV #10 Clueless (1995) - "As If!". Clueless may be one cheesy 90's flick, but it works. Alicia Silverstone delivers a performance full of laughs. And we can't forget about the charming KC native Paul Rudd.
#9 Say Anything (1989 ) - I'm sure many will remember this Cameron Crowe gem. John Cusak and Ione Skye... what a match. This image stands tall as one of the great romantic moments of our time. It's a coming of age story about young high school love.
#8 The Apartment (1960) - This five-time Oscar winner is a must-see classic film. The great Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine give stellar performances in this laughable love story. Not to mention, it won Best Picture and Best Director (Billy Wilder).
#7 Runaway Bride (1999) - You can't run away from this love story. Powerhouse comedy director Garry Marshall gives us a fun and believeable story about a woman who's afraid to settle for love. Julia Roberts and Richard Gere are a perfect match.
#6 Grease (1978) - Who doesn't love the movie Grease ? It's just a feel-good musical for the entire family. And if you're a fan of John Travolta, try this film over the 2007 dud Hairspray .
#5 Brokeback Mountain (2005) - This three-time Oscar winning film is as equally beautiful as it is groundbreaking. Jake Gynllenhal and Heath Ledger are two phenomenal actors, giving us a glimpse into the power of love. Everyone should see this film.
#4 West Side Story (1961) - It's arguably the greatest musical of all time -- Winner of ten Academy Awards including Best Picture. It's about two people, from two different New York City gangs, who fall in love. West Side Story is a superb film.
#3 Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) - Based on the novel by Truman Capote, Breakfast at Tiffany's is a lovable classic you can't miss. Audrey Hepburn is quite easy on the eyes in this two-time Oscar winning classic. A film worth watching over and over.
#2 Ghost (1990) - How many tears do you think have been shed over Ghost ? It's guaranteed to make you cry like a baby. Whoopi Goldberg also won an Academy Award for her supporting role as Oda Mae Brown. You have to give this a shot on Valentine's Day.
#1 Love Actually (2003) - This is one of my all-time favorite romantic movies. Love Actually has an incredible cast and is full heart. I promise, you will fall in love with this film. So go ahead, cuddle up with a loved one and watch this on Netflix.
