KC radio station Star 102 launches Christmas music November 1

Black Friday deals were leaked in mid-October and by Halloween, many stores had prominent Christmas displays in place.

By November 1, the holiday music was also readily available to KC-area radio listeners. 

Kansas City radio station KCKC, better known as Star 102 , began playing holiday tunes November 1. We asked our Facebook friends whether it is too early for Christmas music and got mixed reactions.

Many said it is too early and some said Christmas music was best held until at least Thanksgiving.

Some others like the idea.

One said, “Love it!! If we can start haunted houses in Sept, we can have Christmas music in November!”
