Veterans Day is Saturday, and one local elementary school is learning about sacrifice to help those who have sacrificed so much for us. Pleasant Ridge elementary school in Olathe has been collecting donations for the last week for care packages that will go to active-duty soldiers and veterans. In addition to personal items, like socks and soap, they've also donated some of their Halloween candy.
