For over 70 years, Veterans Voices has enabled military veterans to experience solace and satisfaction through a writing program. The project encourages veterans to express their thoughts and feelings in writing and to send their stories, essays and poems in for potential publication in Veterans’ Voices magazine. Rich Wrobel, Veterans Voices Board Member/Liaison and Assistant Professor at Grantham University joins us to discuss how the program works and what it means to Veterans. He is joined by Lou Eisenbrandt, a former U.S. Army nurse and author of the book “Vietnam Nurse: Mending and Remembering.”
