“The Tree,” was named the winner of the 2017 Kansas City FilmFest Audience Choise award as the best film in the festival. It was shot in Kansas and stars Kansas City’s legendary 89-year-old actress Joicie Appell.
“The Tree” begins showing at The Tivoli Theater July 14 – 20.
