Hot Buttered Louisburg Apple Cider With Rum:

Ingredients

                                Half-gallon Louisburg apple cider

1 stick salted butter (substitute 1/2 c. Coconut Oil for vegan version)

1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed

2 tablespoons Louisburg Cider Mill Cider Spices (ingredients: cinnamon bark, allspice, cloves, orange peel)

                                Rum

                                Louisburg Cider Mill Cinnamon sticks

Instructions

Bring the apple cider to a simmer over medium heat in a large pot, then turn the heat down to low. Stir in the butter and brown sugar. Place the Louisburg Cider Mill Cider Spices in a tea ball or coffee filter with a twist tie and place in the pot. Continue stirring until the butter is melted and the sugar is dissolved.

Ladle the buttered cider into mugs. Top each drink off with a shot of rum and garnish with a Louisburg Cider Mill cinnamon stick. Serve hot.
