The owners of Overland Park Mediterranean restaurant, The Basha Cuisine, show us how to make their dish at home. So get those meat grinders and deep fryers out and let's make some falafel!
2 cups of chickpeas (soaked overnight)
½ cup of chopped onion.
4 pieces of garlic.
2 tablespoon of chopped parsley.
1 tea spoon Salt or as desired.
1 tea spoon Cumin.
2 tea spoons coriander.
After soaking chickpeas overnight, grind all ingredients except the spices to be added after grinding one after the other and salt to be added as desired. Utilize the falafel maker tool to form the falafel patties. If former is not available, it can be made as small balls by spoon or hand. Deep fry the patties in 325 F for 2 mins until reaching the a dark golden color. The longer it fries the crispier it will get
