Give your smoothie a probiotic twist!

Looking to really kick your smoothie into high gear? Matt Wood, CEO of local manufacturer SCD Probiotics, gives the scoop on adding probiotics to your favorite on-the-go drink.

Strawberry Banana:
1 banana
8 organic frozen strawberries or mixed berries
1 ½ cups unsweetened vanilla soy milk
½ tablespoon of honey or agave
Vanilla protein powder – I like 40g but you could cut in half to 20g
8 or 9 pieces of ice
1 tablespoon SCD Essential Probiotics

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana:
1 banana
1 cup unsweetened vanilla soy milk
Chocolate protein powder – same as above
Agave or honey to taste if the chocolate powder is not sweetened
2 tablespoons organic peanut butter
8 or 9 pieces of ice
1 tablespoon SCD Essential Probiotics
