Movie Review: 'The Conjuring'

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Conjuring is the most terrifying movie I've seen in years!

It's a blood-curdling nod to classic horror, and delivers the scares in a tasteful way. No gore -- just genuine frights.

Recent horror directors have focused all their time and effort on making movies downright disgusting. How does a cheesy bloodbath, mixed with poor CGI, actually scare people?

The real terror comes from the unknown -- i.e. the mysterious figure lurking in the corner of the bedroom.

Audiences are scared of those dark beasts and bumps in the night.

The Conjuring takes us back to the horrifying place we only envision in our nightmares.

It even pays homage to classic scary films -- using similar cinematic style of The Shining and Amityville Horror.

Conjuring Director James Wan is just one film away from being this generation's master of horror. He's the man responsible for smash-hits like Saw and Insidious. Wan is a cinematic genius and knows exactly what the word "horror" means.

Wan's resume reel is already impressive enough, but now he has a new classic on his hands with The Conjuring.

If you love horror movies, or love to be scared, or even just want to see a good movie -- you won't want to miss this one.

It's without a doubt, the best movie of the summer!
