KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Next year's Super Bowl could get a little weird. Weird Al Yankovic fan created a petition to get the parody artist to play the Super Bowl halftime show.
The petition is on Change.org and it asks the White House to step in and make the recommendation to the NFL.
There have been similar efforts in the past, but this year, it just might work. So far, the petition has nearly 80,000 signatures.
Weird Al's newest album is currently number one on music charts. It's the first comedy album to do that in more than 50 years.
