Rose Brooks Center raises $700,000 at annual Cabaret featuring Kristin Chenoweth

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Rose Brooks Center hosted its 25 th annual Cabaret Sunday night at the Sheraton Crown Center.  Cabaret is their signature fundraising event in support of their work to provide safety and hope to women escaping domestic violence.

Peter and Michelle de Silva chaired the event which raised over $700,000.  Nelson and Rachael Sabates served as the evening's honorary chairs.

The evening's entertainment came from Kristin Chenoweth – star of stage, television and film.  Chenoweth made her mark on Broadway originating the role of Glinda the Good Witch.  Her performance Sunday featured songs from her stage roles as well as her recording career.

Rose Brooks Center Board member and 41 Action News Anchor Mark Clegg was honored to once again served as the evening's emcee.
