'The Voice' pays tribute to Connecticut shooting victims

As The Voice began their finale week on Monday, Dec. 17, the show opened with a touching tribute to the 20 children and 6 adults that were slain during the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on Dec. 14.

The song featured the show's coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, CeeLo Green and Christina Aguilera singing the leads, while the show's cast and host Carson Daly filled out the chorus.

Each person held a card with a victim's name and age listed.
