KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The exterior and interior of Union Station is glowing in green as it transforms into the Emerald City to celebrate the new film, "Oz The Great and Powerful."
There is also a yellow brick road outside of the station that leads into the building and to the new Extreme Screen Theater. It is the largest indoor screen in Kansas City.
Joy Torchia, marketing director for Kansas City's Union Station, said the theater is an amazing experience.
"Heart pounding surround sound and just amazing crystal clear images. We've got the best projectors in the industry. It's going to be a 3-D experience unlike any other," Torchia said.
The screen is five stories tall and more 80 feet wide. The theater seat about 440 people.
Kansas City's Union Station will hold an advanced screening of Disney's "Oz the Great and Powerful" on Tuesday.
