A coyote raised as a dog has moved into Lakeside Nature Center in Kansas City.
It’s illegal to raise a coyote, so the family who was caring for him donated him to the center.
“It’s a sad tale, but we’re going to make the best of it,” Lakeside director Kimberly Hess said.
“And hopefully he can teach some other people about coyotes,” Hess continued.
Hess says the center needs $8,700 to build a fence to enclose Cody’s habitat.
