• Meet Holly Starr
A product of the Kansas City Northland, Holly Starr has been involved in the entertainment industry since the age of 12. Her smile graces the covers of magazines, calendars, and even Hallmark greeting cards. She has worked in local and national TV commercials, print ads, live runway modeling, and roles in various films and television.

While in college, Holly was encouraged by her local talent agency to pursue her career further and signed with an agency in Hollywood. There, she worked as an actress and model and was even offered a recurring role in a soap opera. However, L.A.’s wild and reckless lifestyle did not appeal to the Midwestern, small town girl and Holly came home to Kansas City where she graduated with honors from Park University. She continues to stay busy modeling and acting locally and travels around the country for special assignments.

Even with all of her success, Holly takes the most pride from being a positive role model. She has a passionate commitment to improving her community whenever possible. She is actively involved in SAFEHOME, Harvesters – The Community Food Network, child mentoring, and various homeless missions.

In her spare time, Holly likes to hang out with family and friends, attending concerts and sporting events. But her favorite thing to do is spend time with her dog, Peyton, whom she rescued a few years ago.

Give Holly a holler holly@38thespot.com.
