Help Kansas City's homeless pets by participating in the 13th Annual Kansas City Pet Telethon. 38 The Spot Host Crystle Lampitt and 41 Action News Chief Meteorologist Gary Lezak will host the Kansas City Pet Telethon to benefit the Humane Society of Greater KC.

The three-hour telethon will air on Sunday, March 3, 2013, from 6:30 - 9:30PM on 38 The Spot.

Meet adoptable pets, learn the latest in pet education and find out how you can save a life and give homeless pets a second chance.

If you can raise $800 or more before the telethon, you can present a "jumbo check" on-air. But hurry, space is limited! Contact Casey at 913-596-1000 x155 or at casey@hsgkc.org.

The Kansas City Pet Telethon is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.

The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City is the oldest existing humane society in the Kansas City metro area. It became the area's first no-kill shelter in 1994.
