SPRING HILL, Kansas - Hundreds packed into the Grace Community Church in Spring Hill, Kansas to remember Nathan Stiles.
The 17-year-old football player died early Friday morning after collapsing on the football field the night before.
The game against Osawatomie was the senior's first game back on the field since suffering a concussion earlier this month.
The teen’s pastor said Nathan was cleared to play in the game. He collapsed mid-game, but his fellow teammates said there wasn't a single play that hurt him. He died in the hospital about 4 a.m. Friday.
Reverend Joel Atwell led a group of mourners including Nathan's family in prayer, song, and stories Friday night. He said now is the time to celebrate "Hollywood Nate's" life.
The memorial service will be late next week at Spring Hill High School. The cause of Nathan's death hasn't been released.
