Soldier suprises family in front of thousands at SEC football game

COLUMBIA, S.C.(CNN) - A military family from Georgia is back together again.  The reunion was captured in a video going viral on the Internet.

The Faile family stood on the Williams Brice football stadium field on the South Carolina campus Saturday, told they were contest winners for military families.  They didn't know that Sgt. First Class Scott Faile would be appearing on the big screen with a message for them that Scott had been planning for three months.

"If you're going to go to a game, why not let's really make it something special," said Sergeant Faile.

As his greeting rang out through the stadium, his family's tears started flowing.  They believed Scott was still in Korea on a year-long tour.  Just as the greeting ended Scott stepped out of a tunnel to see his overjoyed family and the cheers of over 85,000 fans.

"Right when I first saw him walk out, I was like, ‘Ok, is that really him?' says Scott's son Cameron.
