KANSAS CITY, Mo. - National World War I Museum and Sporting Kansas City are hosting a soccer tournament in tribute to a soccer tournament held during World War I.
The three-on-three, or "Truce" tournament marks the anniversary of the Christmas TRUCE of 1914.
During the truce, both sides exchanged gifts, sang carols and played soccer.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit The Victory Project, which helps kids in Kansas City who have cancer.
Registration is closed, but you can still watch and enjoy breakfast and Boulevard beer starting at 9 a.m. at the National World War I Museum at 100 West 26th Street.
