KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Twenty-five Kansas City-area children played with LEGOs Thursday morning in an attempt to set a new world record.
The children gathered at LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Crown Center for a class on how to build a LEGO Christmas train.
The Kansas City LEGOLAND coordinated with the eight other locations worldwide to set a Guinness World Record for the largest LEGO building class.
All nine locations began the class at the same time, 6 a.m. CT. The class lasted approximately 35 minutes.
The other LEGOLAND locations are in Dallas, Texas; Chicago; Atlanta; Manchester, England; Berlin, Germany; Duisburg, Germany; and Tokyo.
