It didn't take me long to figure out that Angela Baird is a walking miracle.

After surviving two heart attacks, Baird recovered and became a trainer at The Bar Method in Leawood, Kan.

She is also one of this year's Ambassadors for the American Heart Association of Kansas City.

"My heart function is 100 percent, and I believe it's because of my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, my physicians and my healthy lifestyle," said Baird.

Her first heart attack was four years ago when she was in her 20's.

She was visiting Africa at the time and didn't realize that she was having a heart attack until two years later, when she returned to the United States and had her second heart attack.

"I've had double-bypass surgery and I'm not even 30 years old," she explained.

Baird was quick to tell me that she warns other women to be healthy, exercise and listen to their bodies.

During our workout she encouraged me to watch my posture and keep doing exercises to strengthen my abdominal muscles.
