KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Roasterie is pouring free coffee for voters Tuesday.

If you’re wearing your “I voted” sticker, you can get a complimentary eight-ounce Roasterie coffee at all Missouri and Kansas locations from open to close.

In a news release, The Roasterie said its offering the deal because founder Danny O’Neill places high importance on civic duty.

“It was humbling, an honor and absolutely magical to think that, as an American citizen, I had a part in the process,” O’Neill is quoted as saying. “That feeling, and sense of civic duty, has never left me and, in fact, became even more important when my wife Carla and I started a family and handed down the importance of the right to vote, whether it’s a local or national election.”

Roasterie partner Donutology will be offering the same deal on their proprietary blend of Roasterie coffee until 9 p.m.
