KANSAS CITY, Missouri - One month after the community spoke out against the modern design of Seasons 52, the restaurant will unveil its revised plans.
In August, dozens of people started filling the restaurant's Facebook page with angry comments. Some said they would ban the restaurant if it went through with its design.
According to the original plan, the restaurant would have a facade covering the spanish style stucco and the trademark star on one of the Plaza's most historic buildings.
NBC Action News told you about the story Wednesday, Aug. 24. The very next day, construction workers started taking down the facade. The President of Seasons 52 announced they were changing the design to preserve the historic building.
The revised plan will be unveiled at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ward Parkway and Wornall Road. Seasons 52 will also announce it new opening date.
