Teran got the basic package of internet service which costs $25 a month.
"My friends were actually disappointed that we didn't get the full TV and internet package but my wife and I didn't need all of that so we just got the basic service," Teran said.
The full Google package is package is $120 a month.
The next neighborhood to get Google Fiber will be Dubs Dread. Installation there should begin in December. There will eventually be 180 Google Fiberhoods in the Kansas City metro area.
