NEW YORK (AP) - Macy's to lay off 2,500 workers nationally as it restructures business.
As part of the cost-cutting move, the Metcalf South store will close this spring, affecting 88 associates. The store's final clearance sales will begin on Monday, January 13 and run between 10 and 11 weeks.
Associates displaced by closings may be placed in nearby stores; eligible associates will be offered severance benefits.
