KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Representatives from Missouri Gas Energy could have you paying more on your monthly bill.
The company said it’s costing more to make deliveries and pipeline improvements.
On Monday night, MGE wants to hear from you about increasing rates across the state. They’ll meet in Gladstone at the community center on North Holmes Street.
The increase could mean about $2.33 more per month per customer.
"Obviously anytime there is a rate request it becomes a pocketbook issue, but that's one of the reasons why we hold these public hearings to get customer input," Greg Ochoa with the Missouri Public Service Commission said.
The increase wouldn't impact your bill until next summer.
