8 National Coffee Day deals, debuts and charitable causes in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Friday is National Coffee day and that means several local shops are running specials that will have you covered from day to night.

Start your day at PT’s Coffee Roasting Co. and get deep discounts, and end it at Thou Mayest with a coffee wheat stout.

Here are the deals 41 Action News found online:

Parisi Artisan Coffee – Mention their Facebook post and get a free small coffee or $1 off a Pumpkin Caramel Latte.

The Roasterie – Not necessarily a deal, but when you purchase at their café location, 10 percent of proceeds will be donated to Children’s Mercy.

PT’s Coffee Roasting Co. – Enjoy a $1 12-ounce John Brown, or a $2 12-ounce Binitu Ambela at the Topeka, Lawrence, and Crossroads locations.

Thou Mayest Coffee Roasters – Sit down and stay a while with a $5 Torn Label HouseBrew beer (coffee wheat stout), or a $8 Espresso Martini.

Kaldi’s – Like one of their National Coffee Day posts on Facebook, show it to your barista and receive a free 8-ounce drip, nitro or Haya cold brew.

Starbucks – Again, not a deal, but Starbucks will launch a new blend for National Coffee Day, called the Single-Origin Guatemala Huehuetenango.

Dunkin’ Donuts – Get a free medium hot coffee with the purchase of a medium or larger hot coffee.

Caribou Coffee – Friday through the end of October, Caribou will donate 10 percent of sales to CancerCare, a nonprofit that offers educational and financial support to those affected by cancer.
