The company is recalling Kroger brand “break and bake” cookie dough.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Check your refrigerator and freezers for an important cookie dough recall.
ConAgra Foods and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have recalled Kroger's 16 ounce "Break 'N Bake" chocolate chip cookie dough packages.
They are recalled in 26 states, including Kansas and Missouri.
Peanut butter cup cookie dough was accidentally packaged into some chocolate chip cookie dough packages.
The UPC code on the packages has a "use by" date of Nov. 24, 2013.
People who are allergic to peanuts could have a serious life-threatening reaction if they consume one of the affected products.
Customers should return the product to stores for a full refund or replacement.
So far, no one has been reported as sick from the mispackaging.
