Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial startto the summer. Why not start the season off right with some great deals? Here’s a list of some deals and discounts for all to enjoy.

24 Hour Fitness – Receive free all-club access from May 23-26. It appears that this offer is valid to all guests, not just military.

Best Buy: Save 10 to 25 percent off refrigerators, washers, dryers and more at Best Buy’s Memorial Day Sale, ending May 31

Carter’s: Through Memorial Day, this baby and kids clothing store has everything marked down 50 percent or more.

Dell: Military members save an extra 10% on select PCs, with military ID.

Lowes: Through June 3, get 10 percent off major appliances of $399 or more, along with free local delivery and haul-away service. Lowes is also offering a 10% discount to veterans with a valid military ID.

Hooters: 10 free chicken wings with a drink purchase to all active duty, veterans and their spouses.

Overstock.com – Active duty, retirees, veterans and reservists are eligible for a free Club O membership on Overstock.com (a $19.95 value). This membership gets you 5% in Club O dollars as well as free shipping.

Pizza Hut - 10% OFF for past and current Military Personnel.

Perkin’s Restaurant and Bakery - a free Magnificent Seven breakfast to all veteran’s and active military personnel for Memorial Day.2014

Red Robin – Sign up for the Red Robin Royalty program to receive a deal on Memorial Day (reportedly a free $5 appetizer when you spend at least $10).

Southwest: The airline offers a variety of discounted hotel rates on its site. Save up to 60 percent on Memorial Day weekend hotel stays, and up to 50 percent on stays through July 20.

Target: Take up to 20 percent off outdoor living items like grills, barbecue accessories, patio furniture and outdoor decor. Select home style items are also discounted up to 25 percent, such as bedding, rugs, indoor furniture and decor.
