KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Flowers and chocolate may be popular gifts this Valentine’s Day, but one item had people waiting for hours to get on the Country Club Plaza – dozens of shoppers lined up on Friday to get their hands on Nike’s 2014 All-Star Game sneakers.
Some people lined up Thursday night outside the Foot Locker, while others gathered just a few hours before the store opened.
“I got out here at 7:30 this morning,” said Michael Hollingsworth. “It’s important for me. I’m a big LeBron fan; I try to get all of his shoes.”
The All-Star collection includes LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant.
