There are concerns about some of Samsung’s washing machines.
Some top-load washing machines manufactured between March 2011 and April 2016 may experience abnormal vibrations that could pose a risk of personal injury or property damage when washing bulky or water-resistant items, according to Samsung.
The company recommends if you have an affected model you should use the lower speed delicate cycle when washing bedding or other bulky materials. The Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a statement the lower spin speed in the delicate cycle lessens the risk of injuries or property damage due to the washing machine becoming dislodged.
No recalls have been issued.
Find your serial number and go to Samsung's website to check if your machine is affected.
If you have any questions you can call Samsung at 1-844-483-3881.
