1 dead, 1 injured in Kansas City shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One man is dead and another is in the hospital following a shooting in Kansas City, Mo., early Sunday morning.

Police responded to a call in the 2600 block of Monroe around 3 a.m. When they arrived, they found 35-year-old Michael D. Miller fatally shot in the street.

A second shooting victim arrived at an area hospital shortly after, police said. He is in serious, but stable condition.

Police are not sure what led up to the shooting. They ask anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline, 816-474-TIPS.
