KANSAS CITY, MO. - Authorities are investigating after several unmarked Kansas City police cars were burglarized early Monday morning.
The incidents occurred near 76th Street and Breckenridge, in an area where authorities say several officers live. Police received the first call at 2:26 a.m. that four cars were hit. By 4:40 a.m., at least six vehicles were reported to have had windows busted and item stolen.
No details were immediately available on what was stolen. The Kansas City Police tweeted that no weapons were taken from KCPD cars.
Police said whoever is responsible will face felony charges.
