The body of a St. Joseph man missing since Monday was recovered Saturday morning in the Missouri River.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says Daniel Purvis, 64, disappeared Monday morning in Doniphan County, Kan.
Following up on leads, investigators focused their search for Purvis along Wolf River.
A citizen spotted a body Saturday morning south of St. Joseph, which was recovered and identified as Purvis.
The KBI says Christopher Colhour, 40, of the St. Joseph, Mo. area, was arrested Monday after he stole Purvis’ SUV. He remains in custody in connection to Purvis’ disappearance.
