Dozens of Raytown storage units broken into

RAYTOWN, Mo. - Raytown police have a big job ahead of them after what happened at a Public Storage over the weekend near 350 Highway and Blue Ridge Boulevard.

Police said 52 units were damaged and they believe burglars entered and stole from 47 of them.

They are interviewing the people who rented those units to find out what’s still missing and what’s still there.

Investigators believe that because so many units are involved, burglars probably spent the weekend damaging the units and stealing property.

Police are looking at surveillance video, hoping to find clues that will help them catch the crooks.
