FBI wants public's help to find man with information about bank robbery

FBI agents want the public's help to find a man with important information about a Northland bank robbery.

The wanted man is white, 6 feet tall and likely drives a maroon, late 1990's Acrua 3.2 TL, according to an FBI news release.

The robbery happened about 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at First Federal Bank, 8308 N.W. Prairie View Road in Kansas City.

Witnesses described the suspect as a white man, between 30-40 years old and 6 feet tall.

The suspect wore a fake beard, dark polo shirt, and a hat.

He gave the teller a note ordering her to give him money and said he had a weapon, according to the news release.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
