Authorities need help identifying fourth suspect in Hereford House arson

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of a fourth suspect in the Hereford House arson.

Surveillance images were released Thursday of the fourth unidentified suspect in the early morning fire in October 2008 at the Hereford House Restaurant, 2 E. 20th St.

Authorities hope someone can recognize the man in the photos.

The release of these images come a day after the announcement that two men have been added to the conspiracy, arson, and mail fraud charges that Rodney Anderson already faced.

According to the indictment, Anderson hired Vincent Pisciotta, Mark A. Sorrentino, and a third man to set fire to the restaurant. Anderson showed Pisciotta around the building and gave him a security alarm code and a key so that Pisciotta, Sorrentino and another co-conspirator could enter into the Hereford House and deactivate the security alarm system.

Investigators have evidence that a fourth suspect worked with Pisciotta, Sorrentino and Anderson but investigators need help in identifying him.

Anyone with information that may help identify the man is asked to call the local ATF office at (816) 559-0850, ATF's toll free hotline, 1-888-ATF-FIRE (888-283-3473) or Kansas City Crime Stoppers hotline at (816) 474-TIPS (8477).
