Hot pink crime spree: Similar descriptions in three convenience store robberies

CAMERON, Mo. - A man dressed in all hot pink clothing went on an apparent crime spree in northwest Missouri Thursday night and Friday morning.

According to a statement from the Cameron Police Department, a man wearing a hot pink sweatshirt and pants entered the South Casey's General Store, 305 E. Evergreen, a little before 1 a.m. He also had on black boots and black gloves with an unknown yellow design or writing on them and carried a silver revolver.

St. Joseph police report a man with a similar description robbed the Road Star convenience store at 22nd and Garfield in St. Joseph at about 10:35 p.m. Thursday and the Breaktime store at Woodbine and Faraon, also in St. Joseph, at about 3:19 a.m. Friday.

No injuries were reported in any of the robberies.
