Kansas City police are investigating a possible case of arson at a mosque construction site.
Authorities say leaders at the Islamic Center of Northland arrived at the mosque early Saturday morning and discovered charred walls on the interior of the building.
According to KCUR, Kansas City police and a bomb squad confirmed that two burned bottles were found inside the mosque.
No major damage was reported.
It's unclear if there was a direct motive.
