Police: Two people injured after they shot each other in KCMO

Two people suffered non-life threatening injuries after they shot each other in Kansas City, Missouri, early Wednesday morning. 

Police were called to Hardesty and 56th Street shortly after 2:30 a.m. following an outside disturbance.

Officials say the shooting occurred after a scuffle between two men. 

One victim was found at the scene and the other was located at a nearby Quiktrip. Both were transported to separate hospitals.  

The investigation is ongoing.
