KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Mayor Sly James son Kyle is in the Overland Park Jail.
The booking information says the 30-day stay is for a probation violation.
Court records show Kyle refused to submit a urine test and may have consumed alcohol. He'll serve the month on work release, which means he will be let out to work each day, but has to go back to the jail after work ends.
This isn't the first time he has been behind bars. In May 2012, Kyle was arrested for disorderly conduct. And in August 2011, he was arrested on a municipal assault charge stemming from a bar fight.
In April 2012, he was a witness in a Westport homicide.
