Police may have found the man they’ve been looking for for three years.
OLATHE, Kan. - A three-year-old Shawnee murder mystery may have been solved.
Sources tell 41 Action News that an arrest has been made in connection with the May 2010 murder of Shawnee liquor owner Gerry Grovenburg.
He hasn't been officially charged, so his name will not be released.
A customer found Grovenburg shot to death inside his store, Mr. G's, at 76th Street and Quivira. He and his wife had owned Mr. G's for 35 years and were planning to retire soon.
A special squad of detectives worked the case, but no arrest had been made.
