Kansas City police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Wednesday morning.
Just before 11 a.m. police officers responded to a shots-fired call in the 2700 block of Benton.
When officers arrived, they found a man who was shot at a residence in the area.
Kansas City Fire Department personnel took the victim to a local hospital where he later died.
