Police are searching for three suspects involved in a home invasion after breaking into a house and tying a woman up at knife point.
MIAMI COUNTY, Kan. - The Miami County Sheriff's Office continues to search for a suspect involved in a home invasion in the 25800 block of Old Kansas City Road in Paola, Kan., on Tuesday.
A woman called the cops to report three men that came into her house, demanded money and tied her up at knife-point.
Deputies were on the way to the house when a Louisburg, Kan., officer got into a car chase with what is now believed to be the suspects.
The chase ended when the car stopped and three men got out and ran. One person was caught, but the two others are still on the run.
Miami County Sheriffs Deputies, Louisburg Police and the Kansas Highway Patrol helped in the search and manned a perimeter. The boundaries extended from 68 Highway to 271st and 69 Highway to Metcalf.
Miami County Undersheriff Wayne Minckley says deputies captured one of the two remaining suspects without incident Thursday night near 223rd Street and US 69 Highway. The third suspect remained at large Thursday night.
