LIBERTY, Mo. - A Clay County grand jury indicted a woman Tuesday in the death of her 19-month-old baby.
The indictment charges Amberlyn Farrow, 27, of Clay County, with felony murder and endangering the welfare of a child.
Family members found Farrow's baby, Josslyn Crawford, in a pond on Oct. 16, 2013, on a property in Clay County.
The baby's father had custody of the toddler, but the child was visiting her mother when the incident occurred.
Joshua Crawford, the father, told 41 Action News after his baby's death that "she had the greatest smile, she had the greatest personality. I can't believe she's gone."
Farrow is expected to make her first court appearance at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Clay County Court in Liberty.
41 Action News will be there and provide updates on the case.
