Police are investigating after a deadly shooting in south Kansas City.
At 9:30 p.m., officers were called to the 9700 block of Overhill Road for a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a shooting victim in a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Gerard Knighten, 27.
Police said two men were seen fleeing the scene immediately after the shooting.
