A man died in a shooting and a woman was injured Thursday night.
Police responded to the 5700 block of East 39th Street in regard to a shooting around 10:45 p.m. They found two shooting victims in the street; both went to the hospital.
The male victim was pronounced dead, and the female victim is in serious condition.
Witnesses told police a man drove away from the scene in a dark van.
